As a news report from Ajj Television on reports, here, that the militants have advanced and taken control of the Swat town. There is only source, this, that claims this, I need more sources for this horrible news for any credibility. Here is what Ajj had to say,

Militants seize town as police surrender in Swat

Militants seized a town in northwest Pakistan on Tuesday and hoisted their flags over buildings after security forces surrendered, police and residents said.

The town of Madyan was the third to come under the effective control of followers of Maulana Fazlullah, who is demanding Sharia law in Swat.

“They seized Madyan town today, they have already overrun Matta and Khawazakhela towns” in their earlier push, a police official told AFP on condition of anonymity.

Police gave up their weapons, vehicles and control of local police stations, the officer and local residents said.

“The militants are continuing their advance,” the police official said.

Residents said the militants were in complete control of Madyan and were patrolling the town.

Witnesses said Fazlullah’s supporters hoisted their flags over government buildings and guarded important sites, such as banks and bazaars.

At least 37 police and paramilitary soldiers left the main police station without a fight after militants surrounded the town and assured them that they would not be harmed, residents said.

A militant source said police turned over 35 Kalashnikov assault rifles.

The militants held negotiations with police and security forces, which agreed to withdraw, police and witnesses said.

Police also retreated from two more police posts in nearby villages. [Link] -AFP

Who are these Militants? Pakistanis? What are they doing? Invading Pakistan all over again? Wasn’t Musharraf blamed for that too? What are they trying to achieve. Time to call in the heavy artillery? My God save Pakistan, the State of Pakistan.
