First day at work

without comments

So if you thought I have again absconded from a job too holy to me, you are wrong. Something holier than spewing my heart out in my blog came along and today I’ll be introducing a new category called ‘Internship’. Here I will try to blog about my weekly progress and the work at UFone’s Islamabad MSC (main switching center). I can’t really name the department for privacy reasons, and other reasons too good to mention here. So here goes, this is the first week, wait till Friday till I blog about the first day(s) here. Keep checking.

Probably you would be thinking the Department is not good enough for me to mention here, well, you can go fuck yourself. Keep reading to know what I am up to, then you’ll know.

Azzurrini bow out, Real Madrid Champions!

without comments

Azzurrini might have bowed out the U-21 Tournament in Netherlands, but there were other Italians who won in Madrid, Spain. Fabio Capello and Fabio Canavarro as Real Madrid won the Spanish Championship after 4 years of utter dominance by Barcelona.

The league was decided on the last day when Barca won 5-1, and Real won 3-1. Both were level on points, 76. But Real had an edge on Barca over head to head matches. Meaning Barca did not have a good record against Real this season in their two matches, one away, one home.

As Becks ends his 4 years at Real, he hasn’t left without kissing some silverware. David Beckham is moving to L.A. Galaxy football club in Los Angeles also to further his showbiz career.

Azzurrini failed to qualify for the semi finals of the U-21 Tournament, which was a great anti-climax for me. UEFA website has all the details.
