I for one love to draw positives out of situations. Currently Pakistan is facing it’s worst judicial turmoil in it’s 60 year checkered history. It’s certainly not going down well with the masses; not only has it brought great amount of national shame, it is has also created a black cloud of hopelessness over the nation. Gen. Musharraf’s summoning of the Chief Justice of Pakistan and then suspending him from his position in the Supreme Court on the basis of a loud mouth advocate who had personal grievances with C. J. Iftikhar Chaudhary shows how despotic this regime is.

Naeem Bokhari, the village idiot who used to promote his advocacy through his lames ass television shows, is solely responsible for creating national dis-harmony, threat to national stability, bringing shame to national institutions who had nothing left to do other than act likewise, and causing ir-repairable damage to our societal and communal fabric which is already regarded as one of the shadiest in the world. Another golden star on out report cards!

I believe he should be tried in a separate court case for all of the above charges, or any of the following that best fit this character: anarchist, revolutionist, separatist or traitor. And made to justify his basis to address the CJ of Pakistan in a public letter in such a manner. Bokhari is lucky he was not held in contempt right away, and sent to the prison for a year of half! Bokhari might be eloquent and articulate, but it wont hide the fact that there is certainly some malice behind this letter. Naeem Bokhari saab, you are a national disgrace!

However, I am positive that our nation will learn from this, and we will come out better in the end. I appreciate the way the lawyers took to the streets in support of the CJ against a system that is gradually turning into a dictatorshit had it not been considered earlier. Pakistan, I think, is facing a great transition period, where God knows who might come on top, but will eventually help evolve the political and judicial institutions of the country. It is not only sad to see a high-jacked nation treated like this, but the civilian goons they have employed are nothing but ‘yes men’ and mindless drones cant help but capitalize on this time to get their 2 minutes of fame. Goons who go on and on about the respect of the constitution, and respect of the judiciary and blah, blah! I ask them what constitution? What law? What What judiciary? What government? If we are wise enough, we will learn from all this and evolve as a nation, otherwise the future for us is looking very very bleak.
