A few thoughts from my friends on the currently raging debate of Begum Nawazish Ali and his act on national television in Pakistan.
  • I agree he cross dresses, or he is a cross-dresser, but aren’t we a little too judgmental, even with all our research over his work, that we conveniently label him as a cross-dresser? It’s similar to calling someone a ‘gay’ or a ‘fag’?! He is just an actor, and actors do all kinds of weird things… they murder people, kill animals, hump blondes, all in the name of entertainment that they try to sell. Those roles don’t make them murderers, or maniacs in real life. Here, BNA is exceptionally popular amongst the elite and the poor, regardless of his guest pool, his jokes or his clothes choice. Had he been doing this in a private corner of this world, then it was certainly a lot more questionable as to what his objectives are. And logic gets thrown out the window when we think that the only venue of him for attracting the highly prized male populous of Pakistan is by a television show accessible to other maniacs and fanatics out there…!

More over, the value of my comment starts dwindling when I comment or criticize ever freaking thing out there and start calling them or their roles fags or bitches or sluts… Inzi is a fag, Dino is a homo, Hadiqa is not a woman etc.

    My advice to everyone:
